Thrash, a poem from scrap
2026's Korean indie film <Thrash> tells the story of six young people set in a scrap yard. Yeongdo's old shipyards in Busan, an industrial-waste yard in Incheon's Dong-gu, and POSCO's Gwangyang Works are the key locations.
The director shot 'the next life of what is thrown away.' Every mise-en-scène is scrap + light + the shadow of a person.
Completed on a budget of just 11 days' shooting. Invited to the Vision section at Busan International Film Festival.
