JTBC's 2023 <King the Land>, starring Lee Junho and Im Yoon-ah, is a hotel romance set inside the global chain 'King the Land.' Under the word 'hospitality,' two faces unfold.
Main shots were filmed at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam. The lobby's chandelier opens Episode 1.
The Episode 10 Jeju sequence was filmed for five days around Gapado's green barley fields and Incheon Airport. The Bangkok rooftop bar in Episode 11 was an exclusive one-day rental of Lebua's Sky Bar.

Gapado barley fields
Five days of shooting in mid-April when the barley is its most green. They waited all day for the wind to be right — only two hours of usable footage made the cut.

Bangkok Lebua Sky Bar
63rd-floor rooftop exclusive rental for a day. Helicopter permits were arranged three months in advance. The shots from 18:42 to 19:08, when the sunset is strongest, made the final cut.
