Released in March 2026, Netflix's <Boyfriend on Demand> is BLACKPINK Jisoo's first leading drama and Seo In-guk's return. Under its fantasy premise — that a boyfriend can be 'rented' on a monthly basis — the city night of Seoul and the resort light of Cebu are bound into a single breath.
Direction begins on the river, across the two Han River bridges of Dongho and Seongsu. The night Mi-rae (Jisoo) and Kyung-nam (Seo In-guk) first speak runs as a long take across the night view of Oksu Station.
The Episode 8 resort sequence was filmed for six days at Shangri-La Mactan in Cebu, Philippines. Korean light and Southeast Asian light cross within one character's gaze.
